Theory of elasticity is studied during one term at the 4th course, 5 academic hours per week (3 - for lectures and 2 - for exersises and laboratories). The goals of the course are:
- To provide an ability of complicated structures and constructions model choise for stress analysis.
- To provide a knowledge and ability to formulate the theory of elasticity problem statement.
- To provide a knowledge of the theory of elasticity problems solution main analitical and numerical methods.
- To develop a skill of solving theory of elasticity problems using modern software.
- To develop a skill of the results obtained trustworthines and accuracy estimating.
The program of the course includes:
- Basics of the theory of elasticity. Statement of the theory of elasticity problem and examples of its analitical solution.
- Applying Finite Elements Method to the theory of elasticity problems solution.
- Basics of the theory of plates.
- Applying Finite Elements Method to the theory of plates problems solution.
