Dynamics of structures is studied during one term at the 4th course, 5 academic hours per week (3 - for lectures and 2 - for exersises and laboratories). The goals of the course are:
- To provide an ability of structure or construction dynamical model creation for stress analysis.
- To provide a knowledge of the dynamical problems solution main methods and corresponding normative documents.
- To develop a skill of solving dynamics of structures problems using modern software.
- To develop a skill of the results obtained trustworthines and accuracy estimating.
- To provide a knowledge of designing structures and constructions in seismically active regions or under dynamical loads principles.
The program of the course includes:
- Introduction. Kinds of vibrations and dynamical loads. Dynamical models for stress condition analysis.
- Structures eigen frequences and modes computation.
- Analysis of structures under dynamical loads of different kind.
- Analysis of structures under seismical loads. Construction in seismically active regions.
